Description

This is the first in a serie of fictional stories roughly based on Frances Glessner Lee's Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death.

For this first mystery, McNamara uses "Dark Bathroom" as her inspiration, combining the scene with Boston's Great Molasses Flood of 1919. Frances Glessner manager of Wendell House, opened for soldiers and sailors returning from World War I. With the help of medical eaminer Dr. George Magrath, she sets about to unravel the clues surrounding the unfortunate victim found in her bathtub. (Author: Frances McNamara - Publication 2023)
