Explore the history and architecture of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on this full day bus tour, co-sponsored by the Chicago Chapter, Society of Architectural Historians. Sites include the Benjamin Church house (Milwaukee’s oldest house), Villa Terrace (designed by David Adler), the Basilica of St. Josaphat (built with stones from Chicago’s old post office), Forest Home Cemetery, and the Burnham Block (six American System-Built homes by Frank Lloyd Wright). The cost includes round trip deluxe coach transportation from Chicago (two boarding locations will be offered), all site admissions, a fullcolor booklet with detailed site information, and lunch at the elegant Wisconsin Club, the former Gilded Age mansion of Alexander Mitchell.
