Summary
Second Annual Wilbert R. Hasbrouck Preservation Lecture. Our second annual Hasbrouck lecture will examine the life and work of Chicago architect Ben Weese on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Author and architectural historic Robert Bruegmann will present an overview of Weese’s extraordinary career, including his key role in the rescue of Glessner House in the 1960s. The lecture will be preceded by a reception hosted by the Weese family. The Hasbrouck lecture series is generously funded by a gift from Paul and Margaret Lurie.
